Rehau uPVC windows and doors
Rehau is the manufacturer of the SYNEGO uPVC window system, of the Synego lift-and-slide door (Synego HST in Rehau's own range) and of GENEO with its glass-fibre reinforced core. That core replaces the usual steel reinforcement.

The best thermal value in uPVC that we supply — Uf 0.86 with thermal modules — at 86 mm frame depth, thanks to a glass-fibre reinforced core instead of steel. If you need it shallower, at 80 mm, choose the Rehau SYNEGO.
Rehau's uPVC window, tested to RC3 — one class higher than most of the uPVC profiles we supply. Insulates slightly less well than the GENEO (Uf 0.94 against 0.86), but at 80 mm it is the shallowest of our uPVC window profiles.
The lift-and-slide door from Rehau's Synego family: 190 mm frame and 80 mm leaf, Uf 1.3 W/m²K, tested to RC 2. Choose it when the windows are SYNEGO too and you want one system family across the elevation.
What is Rehau SYNEGO?
SYNEGO NL is the window system Rehau leads with on thermal insulation: the manufacturer quotes up to 45% better insulation than an older window, without naming a specific reference profile — so it is a manufacturer's claim, not a figure we have checked ourselves.
GENEO: uPVC with a glass-fibre core
Alongside SYNEGO, Rehau makes the GENEO system, with a core of glass-fibre reinforced plastic (Rehau calls it RAU-FIPRO) instead of the usual steel reinforcing sections in the chambers. That is a different technical choice from most of the uPVC profiles in our range, which are reinforced with steel.
The EcoPuls label: recycled material in the profile
SYNEGO NL profiles carry Rehau's EcoPuls product label. According to the manufacturer, this means the profile is made of more than 40% recycled material. We are passing that claim on from the manufacturer's brochure and have not measured the percentage ourselves.

We carry three Rehau profiles: SYNEGO and GENEO for windows and doors, and the Synego lift-and-slide door. For none of the three do we calculate a price automatically yet — you put the profile together in the configurator and receive a quote made to measure, as with the other new profiles that joined our range this round.
Burglar resistance and sound: what the brochure says
Colour at Rehau is not one technique. The SYNEGO NL brochure lists four under the name KALEIDO COLOR: paint (KALEIDO PAINT), foil lamination (KALEIDO FOIL), an aluminium cladding shell on the outside (KALEIDO COVER) and a woodgrain surface (KALEIDO WOODEC) — more than 400 designs in all, with the inside and outside chosen separately, for example anthracite outside and white inside. Which of these we supply on your profile is shown in the configurator; the colour chart here is the manufacturer's, not ours.
Two figures from the same brochure that you will want to know for a window. Burglar resistance: according to Rehau, SYNEGO NL can be built up to resistance class RC 3 (EN 1627), the Synego lift-and-slide door up to RC 2 — what your window achieves depends on the hardware and the installation, so we do not promise a class here. Sound: up to Rw 46 dB for SYNEGO NL and up to 43 dB for the lift-and-slide door (ISO 10140-2), with the right glazing. As a rule of thumb, the difference between a standard and an acoustic glass unit is usually larger than the difference between two profiles.

What colours can a Rehau window have?

How deep is a Rehau window frame?
SYNEGO NL 80 mm, with a standard frame-plus-sash sightline of 117 mm (109 to 175 mm); GENEO 86 mm; the Synego lift-and-slide door 190 mm in the frame and 80 mm in the sash. Measure the reveal before you choose — in renovation work, depth is often the first constraint.
Can I order a Rehau window from Rovenzia?
Yes: SYNEGO, GENEO and the Synego lift-and-slide door each have their own profile page. There is no automatic price for these three yet — you put your window together and receive a quote made to measure instead of a from-price.
What is the difference between SYNEGO and GENEO?
SYNEGO is Rehau's standard uPVC window system. Instead of steel reinforcing sections, GENEO uses a core of glass-fibre reinforced plastic that Rehau calls RAU-FIPRO — a different construction, not better or worse by definition.
What does the EcoPuls label mean?
According to Rehau, the label indicates that the profile is made of more than 40% recycled material. It is a manufacturer's claim about the material, not a mark for burglar resistance or installation.
