The sliding door for a floor that cannot take any more build-up: of all the profiles we supply, this one projects least into the room. If thermal value weighs heavily, look at a uPVC slider instead.
For the widest opening with the fewest mullions — this has the largest sliding leaf of the Aluprof sliders. If you don't need that size, the MB-59HS projects less into the room and has a slimmer sightline.
The aluminium profile for everyday window and door sizes. If you go above 5,000 × 2,700 mm, or thermal value is the deciding factor, the MB-86N is the right one.
The only bifold door we supply: up to eight leaves that fold fully to the side, instead of one leaf that stays in front of the opening as with the MB-59HS and the MB-77HS. Choose it when the whole elevation needs to open, not just part of it.
Choose this when insulation decides it: no profile we supply goes lower. If you mainly want to see as little frame as possible, the MB-Ferroline has a slimmer sightline.
For anyone who wants the steel factory window look: 97 mm for frame and sash together, the slimmest sightline of the Aluprof windows. That costs insulation — if you won't give any up, choose the MB-86N.

What is an Aluprof MB system?
Aluprof names its systems "MB" plus a number, and that number says nothing about a ranking from good to better — each system is built for a different priority. The MB-86N is the best-insulating profile we carry, uPVC and aluminium taken together; the MB-Ferroline is designed to look like steel and gives up insulation to do so. Which of the two suits you depends on what matters more to you: the energy bill or the look.
From MB-79N to MB-86N: where the differences lie
For a large opening without window frames in the way, Aluprof has two lift-and-slide systems: the MB-59HS and the heavier MB-77HS, with a higher load capacity per sash and a greater maximum height. If the same elevation also gets windows, the MB-79N or MB-86N keeps the same profile look — the practical reason to stay with one manufacturer rather than picking the slimmest or cheapest profile for each opening.
Cradle to Cradle: Aluprof's certificate
Aluprof aluminium is powder coated, not foiled. That means any RAL colour is possible, smooth or with a textured finish, rather than a choice from a fixed foil chart as with uPVC. It is also why aluminium is the material to choose here if you want a specific, non-standard colour.
Aluprof holds a Cradle to Cradle certificate from 2024. It covers the production of the material and how well it can be reused, and it is a different kind of mark from KOMO or SKG, the Dutch quality and security marks: it says nothing about burglar resistance or the quality of installation. The certificate itself is linked under the documents on every Aluprof profile page.

Frequently asked questions about Aluprof
Which Aluprof profiles does Rovenzia carry?
Five: the MB-79N and MB-86N for windows and doors, the MB-Ferroline for the steel look, and the MB-59HS and MB-77HS as lift-and-slide doors. Each has its own profile page with a cross-section, specifications and a guide price.
Which Aluprof profile insulates best?
The MB-86N, with Uf 0.57 W/m²K — the best-insulating profile in our whole range, uPVC and aluminium taken together. The MB-Ferroline is at Uf 1.50: that choice is made for the look, not for insulation. Both figures are for the profile alone, not the complete window with glass.
Is Aluprof available in any colour?
Yes. The aluminium is powder coated, so any RAL colour is possible, smooth or textured. That is a different process from the foil that gives uPVC profiles their colour.
What does Aluprof's Cradle to Cradle certificate mean?
It is about how the aluminium is produced and how well it can be reused, not about burglar resistance or installation. Other marks cover those two — in the Netherlands, SKG and KOMO — and we name those separately for each profile, only where they have actually been tested.
Is Aluprof uPVC or aluminium?
Aluminium. If you would rather have uPVC, look at Gealan, Rehau or Schüco in our range.
Which Aluprof profiles do you supply?
