Why this combination

Why a 2-pane window, 1 tilt and turn in K-vision Classic?

The K-vision Classic is the flush profile from Kömmerling's K-vision system, updated to a depth of 76 mm — just over 40 mm less than the 120 mm of the Trend and the Cube. Uf 1.10 W/m²K and room for 48 mm glass as standard. It can be fitted with or without a rebate, and glazing bars and a different colour inside and out are possible. That makes it interesting where the reveal is tight, and less so where you want a recessed face.

A flush K-vision (Kommerling) uPVC window, 76 mm deep, for a replacement where the reveal leaves little room.

Fixed glass on the left for the full view, a tilt and turn sash on the right to ventilate: this window combines both without either losing out.

Of the double windows, this is the most chosen split: one pane stays fixed and keeps the view unbroken, the other is a full tilt and turn window. So you don't have to choose between a large piece of glass and being able to air the room — you get both, in one frame with one mullion. In the configurator you choose whether the tilt and turn pane goes on the left or the right.

The standard size is 1,800 × 1,500 mm, split equally between the two panes. If you need more ventilation than one tilt and turn pane gives, the 2-pane window with two tilt and turn sashes — with a tilt and turn pane on both sides — is the broader choice; if you want no opening at all, the 2-pane fixed window is the simpler one.
