Single fixed window in Rehau Synego

SYNEGO is Rehau's uPVC window and door system: 80 mm frame depth, 7 chambers in the outer frame and 6 in the sash, glass up to 51 mm, and Uf 0.94 W/m²K in the MD version. The face of frame and sash together is 117 mm as standard; the data sheet gives a range of 109 to 175 mm, and 144 to 218 mm on a French casement (figures given by Janwillem on 14 September 2026 from the Rehau data sheet). It has been tested up to burglar resistance class RC3, one class higher than most uPVC profiles in our range. SYNEGO profiles carry Rehau's EcoPuls label: according to the manufacturer, the profile is therefore more than 40% recycled material — a claim we take from the manufacturer's brochure and have not measured ourselves.

One pane, one piece of glass and nothing that moves — the simplest window you can put together.

A fixed window has no hinge, no handle and no gap round a sash to let in draughts: the glass is held in the frame all the way round. That makes it the cheapest form of pane there is, because there is no tilt and turn hardware, no handle and no extra seal in it. Choose it where the space doesn't need ventilation — a bathroom window with a separate extractor fan, a stairwell, or a pane next to a door that already lets in enough air.

The standard size is 1,500 × 1,500 mm, but that is a starting point and not a limit: in the configurator you set your own width and height. Because there is no hardware in it, a fixed window is also the form that can go widest and tallest without a sash becoming too heavy to operate — that limit simply doesn't apply here.
