Cheap uPVC doors
Cheap uPVC doors don't have to mean a cheap door: most of the saving comes from buying supply only and choosing the simplest version. Below is the guide price for a uPVC front door, measured on our own quotes, with the number of quotes behind it. For your own size, the configurator prepares the request and the offer gives the amount.
Guide price for a uPVC front door
Measured on our own quotes from February 2023 to July 2026 inclusive, per unit at the size in the table. The amount is the median; the range runs from the lower to the upper quarter of the observations. Prices in GBP, excl. UK VAT and import duties, which are payable on delivery; excluding delivery and installation. This is a guide price, not a quote.
| Unit | Measured size | Typically | Range | Per m² | Quotes |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Door | 1,000 × 2,300 mm | £1,331 | £1,149 – £1,442 | £579 | 23 |
Price per m² = the measured amount divided by the area of the size in the table. Where there is a dash, the spread is too wide for a single amount and the range is what counts.
Composite front doors prices: what sets them
Size first, then the layout: a single door costs less than a door with one or two side panels. After that come the frame material (uPVC is the cheaper, aluminium costs more) and the glass. On screen no colour is dearer than another; what your colour costs is in your made-to-measure quote. The quartz composite panel by Dindecor is part of every door; the design you choose moves the price a little.
uPVC front doors supplied and fitted: cost
We supply, we don't install, and nobody from Rovenzia comes to fit the door. The price in your offer is for the door and its delivery; your own fitter prices the fitting separately. Ask for that price before you order, including taking out the old door and making good.
Cheapest uPVC doors: the simplest version
A uPVC door on its own, without a side panel, close to the reference size of the table, in double glazing: that is the cheapest combination. Every addition raises it, and it is up to you which ones are worth their price. The panel stays quartz composite whatever you spend.
uPVC doors price: what the figure includes
The door comes as one unit with its frame, threshold, hardware, a cylinder and three keys. Prices in GBP, excl. UK VAT and import duties, which are payable on delivery. Delivery to the UK is quoted with your offer.
Cheap uPVC doors supplied and fitted
Buying supply only and hiring your own fitter is often the cheaper route, but it puts the fitting in your hands. Check the door when it arrives and report any transport damage straight away, on delivery, before the fitter starts.
How the figure in the table is worked out
The figure is not a price from a list but a guide price from our own quotes. We look at front doors we have priced before, at a comparable size, and show where most of those amounts fell. Under the figure you see how many quotes it rests on, and the range: what comparable doors cost, from the bottom to the top of that group.
Delivery is not included in it; delivery to the UK is quoted with your offer. A guide price is not a quote: the amount for your door, at your size and with your choices, only comes with the offer. If there are too few earlier quotes for a combination, we show no figure rather than an estimate.
Choices that change the amount
Besides the size and a side panel, a few choices come back in the offer. A fanlight adds a section. Triple glazing, laminated glass or obscure glass cost more than clear HR++ double glazing. A square (90°) corner joint instead of a mitre, which the Dutch call HVL, takes more work in the factory and so costs extra. A long handle is usually made to length.
If you want to keep the amount down, look at the size first. A door that fits the existing opening exactly also saves extra work when it is fitted, and that work is paid to your fitter.
What can come on top of our offer
For the whole picture, count on three items besides the door itself. One: delivery and packaging, quoted with your offer. Two: fitting, by yourself or your fitter; nobody from Rovenzia comes to fit it. Three: taking away the old door and making good inside, such as plastering or a trim around the frame. Prices in GBP, excl. UK VAT and import duties, which are payable on delivery.
From quote to payment
You receive a quote within three working days, with a date on which it expires. If something isn't right, you ask for a change from the quote itself. Once you accept, you pay through the payment service or by bank transfer, and the door then goes into production.
Frequently asked questions
How much are composite front doors?
The table gives a guide price for a uPVC front door with our quartz composite panel, measured on our quotes at a reference size. Your price follows from your size, layout, glass and colour, and your offer gives it.
How much are uPVC doors?
See the guide price above; it is measured, not taken from a price list. Prices in GBP, excl. UK VAT and import duties, which are payable on delivery.
How much do uPVC doors cost with fitting?
Our price has no fitting in it: we supply, we don't install. Add your fitter's price for taking out the old door and fitting the new one.
How much do composite front doors cost compared with uPVC?
With us that is one door, not two: a uPVC frame and leaf with a quartz composite panel. The comparison that changes the price is uPVC against aluminium for the frame.
Are composite doors more expensive than uPVC?
Every door we sell carries the quartz composite panel, so there is no cheaper panel to step down to. What moves the price is the size, the layout and the glass; what your colour costs is in your quote.
How much are uPVC front doors with a side panel?
More than the single door, because the side panel adds frame and glass, but it has no hinges or lock. The difference shows in your offer as soon as you choose the layout.
Why is there sometimes no figure in the table?
If we have too few earlier quotes for a combination, we leave the figure out rather than give a number that rests on nothing. The price for your door is then simply in your quote, within three working days.
Is a front door with a side panel much more expensive?
The unit gets wider, with more frame and more glass, so the total goes up. A side panel has no hardware and no hinges, which keeps the difference down. How big it is at your size, you see when you have both versions priced.
