Gealan S 9000 HST
Gealan S 9000 HST: the uPVC lift-and-slide patio door from the S 9000 system, up to 6,500 mm wide.
Gealan S 9000 HST
The lift-and-slide version of the S 9000, a uPVC sliding patio door: 194 mm frame depth, Uf 1.10 W/m²K, a 150 mm sightline, sliding panels up to 2,000 mm wide. If the rest of your elevation already has S 9000 windows, this door keeps the same profile look — that is the practical reason to choose it over another lift-and-slide door.
8 layouts in Gealan S 9000 HST
From a fixed window to a sliding patio door: every layout this profile can do, each with its own page and a direct way into the configurator.
How much does a Gealan S 9000 lift-and-slide patio door cost?
Our guide prices come from our own quote history, and this type has not come up in it for this profile. That is why there is no amount. Just request the quote: we work it out on your own sizes.
The price of a Gealan S 9000 lift-and-slide door depends on four things: the overall size, the number of sliding panels, the glass and the colour. If there is an amount above this section, it is a guide price from our quote history — not a quote and not a final price; the configurator itself shows no amount. You put your door together, send it as a request, and the price for your sizes is in the offer — you'll hear from us within three working days. Prices in GBP, excl. UK VAT and import duties, which are payable on delivery. Hardware and any discount are in your made-to-measure offer. Delivery to the UK is quoted with your offer. We supply, we don't install, and we don't charge for installation.

Uf 1.10 W/m²K is the heat loss through the profile, not through the whole door. How well it insulates in the end also depends on the glass (Ug) and on the ratio between profile and glazed area; that combination is called Uw, and it comes out of the configurator, not out of this table. The 194 mm frame depth decides how far the frame sits into the reveal — measure that before you order.
This is a schematic cross-section, built from the measured frame depth, frame width and sightline. The chamber layout, seals and reinforcement are not measured — they come from the supplier's technical drawing.

The Synego lift-and-slide door is 190 mm deep in the frame and 80 mm in the sash, with Uf 1.3, and shows a wider face: 179 mm against 150 mm for the S 9000 lift-and-slide, which stands at 194 mm and Uf 1.10. | The Aluplast HST 85, also a uPVC lift-and-slide door: 197 mm deep against 194, the same Uf of 1.10 W/m²K and the same maximum size of 6,500 × 2,700 mm. |

The same scale for all three, so what looks deeper here is deeper.
Where does the S 9000 lift-and-slide door fit?
New build
Suitable. Allow for the threshold detailing and for a floor build-up that takes the 194 mm.
Renovation
Possible, provided the structure can take the span. That is building work, not window work.
Listed buildings and conservation areas
Rarely suitable. Check with your local planning authority.
Standards and Building Regulations in the UK
In the Netherlands, quality assurance for windows and doors runs through KOMO. It is not a standard but a certification: an independent certification body assesses a manufacturer against a set of assessment guidelines — for uPVC windows and doors that is BRL 0703 — and then issues a product certificate. What is certified is not only the finished product but also the production and the manufacturer's own quality control. KOMO is a Dutch scheme, not a British one.
SKG is the Dutch rating for burglar resistance. SKG stars sit on the hardware, not on the frame. For new-build homes, Dutch building regulations require windows and doors that can be reached from outside to meet class 2 of NEN 5096 — in European terms RC2 to EN 1627. Note what that says: it is a requirement for the complete window or door, including the hardware and including the way it is fixed. A window tested as RC2 but fitted wrongly is no longer an RC2 window. These are Dutch and European classifications; we make no claim about British security standards.
The fitting itself matters as much as the window. The Dutch fitting guidelines for uPVC windows and doors (VKG) come down to what good practice asks anywhere: the opening must allow an airtight, watertight, flat and square joint, and the loads on the window must be carried through fixings into the structure. We supply, we don't install, so this part is your installer's work.
In England, Approved Document L sets the limit for replacement windows in an existing home at a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K or WER band B; for doors it is 1.4 W/m²K or DSER band C (more than 60% glazed) or DSER band D (other doors), and a replacement may not perform worse than what it replaces. That U-value is for the whole window (Uw). The Uf on this page is the frame profile alone, so on its own it doesn't tell you whether a window complies; the Uw of your window is stated in your offer. Replacing windows is notifiable building work in England and Wales: an installer registered with a competent person scheme, such as FENSA or Certass, notifies it, or you notify building control before work starts. Because we don't install, that sits with your installer. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own rules. We don't give Building Regulations advice — check with your installer or building control.
What we do not claim here: that our windows carry KOMO or SKG, or any British rating such as a Window Energy Rating. Those marks belong to the manufacturer and its production line, and we have not yet requested the details from our suppliers. Once we have them, they will be listed here with number and expiry date. Until then we only say what the marks are, not that we have them.

Gealan S 9000 lift-and-slide door: frequently asked questions
Can you deliver this profile to me in the UK?
We are a Dutch supplier and deliver to the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and France. Delivery to the UK is quoted with your offer. Production time for the Gealan S 9000 lift-and-slide door is 6 to 8 weeks. You enter your postcode with your quote request. The route always ends at the quote request: not a guessed price, but a quote for your sizes.
What sizes can I order?
This profile goes up to 6,500 mm wide and 2,700 mm high. The widest opening part is 2,000 mm. At the small end: the narrowest section that can be made is 200 mm, the narrowest door section 600 mm, the narrowest side panel next to a door 180 mm, and a door section is no taller than 2,500 mm. **Note: the maximum sizes are not yet confirmed** — our source says so itself, and we confirm them with the supplier before they are final. If you are close to the limit, ask us.
What is the lead time?
Production time is 6 to 8 weeks, the same for all our suppliers (our figure as of 15 September 2026). Delivery to the UK is quoted with your offer. The quote itself is quicker: you'll hear from us within three working days of your request; if it takes longer, you'll hear that within the same three working days, with the date it will be ready.
What exactly will arrive?
What you put together in the configurator is what arrives: the profile you chose, in your size and layout, with the glass and colour you picked. The summary — the last step before your request goes out — lists line by line what your configuration contains, and anything not listed there doesn't come with it. So you know before you unpack, not after. How and where it is delivered in the UK is set out in your offer.
Do you install it as well?
No. We supply, we don't install. That has one consequence you need to know: in England and Wales, replacing windows is **notifiable building work** under the Building Regulations. An installer registered with a competent person scheme, such as FENSA or Certass, notifies it; otherwise you notify building control before work starts. What we don't do is give Building Regulations advice — check with your installer or building control what applies in your situation.
Which glass and colours can I choose?
We offer six types of glass: HR++ double glazing (Ug 1.1), triple glazing (Ug 0.6), satin obscure glass in double and triple, and laminated safety glass class P4A in double (Ug 1.0) and triple (Ug 0.6). For colour there are through-coloured uPVC, dark and other foils for uPVC, and smooth or textured powder coating in a RAL colour for aluminium. Which combination is available on this profile is shown by the configurator — it refuses a combination that doesn't exist rather than quietly supplying it.
Can I send it back if I don't like it?
No. A window made to your measurements is made to order, and made-to-order goods fall outside the right to cancel. We say so before you order, not in the small print. In return, we take the risk out at the start: a size guarantee, a sample pack so you can see the colour in your own light, and a fixed procedure if anything is broken on delivery.
What if something is damaged on delivery?
Check it with the driver before you sign, and have any damage noted on the delivery note. Until the window is in your hands, damage in transit is **our risk**, not yours — we ship on DAP terms, so the risk stays with us until delivery. If you still find visible damage when you unpack, report it with photos **within two working days of delivery**. What you can't see on delivery isn't covered by that: for hidden defects your statutory rights apply unchanged.
