Reynaers ConceptFolding 77
Reynaers' aluminium bifold door: up to eight panels, 120 kg each.
Reynaers ConceptFolding 77
ConceptFolding 77 is the second bifold door we carry alongside the Aluprof MB-86 Fold Line HD: 2 to 8 panels, each up to 1,200 × 3,000 mm and 120 kg; a four-panel set goes up to 4,000 × 2,700 mm overall. Uf 1.66 W/m²K; the slim SL version has a narrower joint between the panels (122 mm against 144 mm). There are four threshold options, from completely level to a version that resists driving rain up to class 9A. Tested to burglar resistance class RC2.

How much does a Reynaers ConceptFolding 77 bifold door cost?
Our guide prices come from our own quote history, and this type has not come up in it for this profile. That is why there is no amount. Just request the quote: we work it out on your own sizes.
The price of a ConceptFolding 77 bifold depends on four things: the overall size, the layout (two to six panels), the glass and the colour. If there is an amount above this section, it is a guide price from our quote history — not a quote and not a final price; the configurator itself shows no amount. You put your door together, send it as a request, and the price for your sizes is in the quote — you'll hear from us within three working days. Prices in GBP, excl. UK VAT and import duties, which are payable on delivery. Delivery to the UK is quoted with your offer; hardware and any discount are itemised in the same quote. We supply, we don't install, so there is no fitting cost in it and we don't pass one on.
Configure and request a quoteReynaers ConceptFolding 77 cross-section — threshold, head track and panels
The drawings show the bifold to scale: vertically through the low threshold (25 mm) and the head track (42 mm) the doors hang from, and horizontally through three panels with the joints between them. This is where a bifold differs from a sliding patio door: two profiles in view per panel, and a threshold that can be low enough to walk over without a step.
Vertical section at the bottom: the 66 mm panel above a low 25 mm threshold, 127 mm in view together. The low threshold is the version for a doorway without a step.
Vertical section at the top: the same panel below a 42 mm head track that holds the carriers — a bifold hangs from the top. Here too, 127 mm in view.
Horizontal section through a three-panel door: at the sides, frame and panel together 119 mm; between two panels, 144 mm at the hinge and 154 mm where the traffic door with its lock closes. The glass panes in the drawing are 994, 1,006 and 999 mm wide.

The card shows Uf 1.66 W/m²K, 77 mm frame depth (frame and panel) and 89 mm sightline (the T-section) — figures from the Reynaers system data, supplied to us on 14 September 2026 (confirmed on 15 September: 1.66 is the current value). The SL version has slimmer sightlines. Uf is the heat loss through the profile; on a bifold it is higher than on a window because every panel joint needs its own hinge point and seal. Which of the four threshold options you choose — level, low, double weather seal or high performance — decides how much water and wind the threshold keeps out, not the Uf. Uf is the profile alone, not the whole-door U-value that Building Regulations ask for.
This is a schematic cross-section, built from the measured frame depth, frame width and sightline. The chamber layout, seals and reinforcement are not measured — they come from the supplier's technical drawing.

| Why something else | The other bifold door we carry: comparable in number of panels (up to eight) and panel weight (120 kg), with the advantage for the CF 77 that its Uf is already known (1.66 W/m²K) — for the Fold Line HD it is still missing from our price data. | A different way of opening: on the CF 77 the panels fold fully to the side and the whole opening is clear; on the CP 130 one panel slides past the other, so at least one part always stays in the opening. |
Side by side, true to scale
The same scale for all three, so what looks deeper here is deeper.
Where is the ConceptFolding 77 a good fit?
New build
Suitable for an elevation that needs to open up completely in summer.
Renovation
Suitable, with the same caveat as a lift-and-slide door: the threshold and floor junction need more adaptation than a window does.
Listed buildings and conservation areas
Ask your local planning authority first; an elevation that folds fully open is not a given on a protected building.
Standards and Building Regulations in the UK
We supply, we don't install, so fitting is your installer's work. In the Netherlands, where we are based, the VKG fitting guidelines for uPVC windows and doors and the KVT guidelines for joinery sit side by side. Both come down to what good practice asks anywhere: the opening has to allow an airtight, watertight, flat and square joint, and the loads on the door have to be carried into the structure through its fixings. Replacing windows in England and Wales is notifiable building work: an installer registered with a competent person scheme (FENSA or Certass, for example) notifies it, or you notify building control before the work starts. Because we don't fit, this sits with your installer — agree it before you order.
Every window and door placed on the market in the EU carries a CE marking to EN 14351-1: with it, the manufacturer declares that the product meets the essential characteristics in that standard, such as thermal transmittance, air permeability and wind resistance. It is a legal obligation for the manufacturer, not an inspection by an independent body, and on its own it says nothing about UK Building Regulations.
On energy performance: in England, Approved Document L (Volume 1: Dwellings, 2021 edition) requires a replacement door that is more than 60% glass to reach a U-value of 1.4 W/m²K or DSER band C; for other doors 1.4 W/m²K or DSER band D, and for windows 1.4 W/m²K or Window Energy Rating band B. A replacement may not perform worse than what it replaces. That U-value is for the whole door or window. The Uf on this page is the profile alone and the Ug is the glass alone — neither is the figure Part L asks for. The U-value of your door, at your sizes and with your glass, is stated in your offer. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own rules.

Frequently asked questions about the Reynaers ConceptFolding 77
Can you deliver this profile to the UK?
Delivery to the UK is quoted with your offer. Reynaers ConceptFolding 77 is made to order; production time is 6 to 8 weeks. You enter your postcode when you request a quote. The route always ends with a quote request: no guesswork price, but a quote for your sizes. For this profile that applies in any case: there is no automatic price yet, so your request always goes to the manufacturer for a made-to-measure quote.
What sizes can I order?
A panel goes up to 1,200 × 3,000 mm and 120 kg, with 2 to 8 panels side by side; a four-panel set goes up to 4,000 × 2,700 mm overall. With this type, think in panels rather than one overall width — how many fit and how wide you want them decides the final size.
How long does it take?
Production time is 6 to 8 weeks, the same for all our suppliers (our figure as of 15 September 2026). Delivery to the UK is quoted with your offer. The quote itself is quicker: you'll hear from us within three working days of your request; if it takes longer, you'll hear that within the same three working days, with the date it will be ready.
What exactly will I receive?
What you put together in the configurator is what you get: the profile you chose, in your size and layout, with the glass and colour you picked for it. The summary — the last step before your request goes out — lists line by line what is in your order, and anything not listed there isn't included. So you know before you unpack, not after. How and where it is delivered in the UK is set out in your offer.
Do you install it as well?
No. We supply, we don't install. That has one consequence you need to know about: replacing windows and doors in England and Wales can be notifiable building work. An installer registered with a **competent person scheme** (FENSA or Certass, for example) notifies it for you; otherwise you notify building control before the work starts. Whether it applies to your door, your installer or building control can tell you. Because we don't fit, this is down to your installer — agree it with them before you order. Scotland and Northern Ireland have their own rules.
Which glass and colours can I choose?
We stock six types of glass: HR++ double glazing (Ug 1.1), triple glazing (HR+++, Ug 0.6), obscure glass in double and triple, and P4A laminated safety glass in double (Ug 1.0) and triple (Ug 0.6). For colour there are solid core colours, dark and other foils for uPVC, and smooth or textured powder coating in RAL colours for aluminium. Which combination is available on this particular profile, the configurator tells you — it refuses a combination that doesn't exist rather than quietly supplying it.
Can I send it back if I change my mind?
No. A door built to your measurements is made to measure, and made-to-measure goods fall outside the right to cancel. We tell you that before you order, not in the small print. In return, we take the risk out at the start: a size guarantee, a sample pack so you can see the colour in your own light, and a fixed procedure if something is damaged on delivery.
What if something is damaged on delivery?
Check it with the driver before you sign, and have any damage noted on the delivery note. Until the door is in your hands, transport damage is **our risk**, not yours. If you still find visible damage when you unpack, report it with photos **within two working days of delivery**. That doesn't cover what you *couldn't* see on delivery: for hidden defects your normal statutory rights on faulty goods apply.
